The Brief.
REDARCs Tow-Pro is a market-leading electric brake controller system for towing campers, caravans, and trailers. With COVID-19 dominating the news and restrictions on travel interstate and complete bans on overseas travel it seemed the perfect opportunity to push caravan and camping travel within Australia.
Cluse & Co were tasked with communicating the benefits and safety of towing with an assisted electric braking system and encouraging all outdoor enthusiasts to get back out there and enjoy the beautiful Australian country.
The strategy.
Tow-Pro is an extremely robust braking system for towing with automated settings for those with less experience to manual configurations for the hard-core outback enthusiasts. A multi-messaging approach was taken across social media platforms to all levels of weekend campers to those seeking to get as far away from it all as possible.
Each targetted segment was given its own set of messaging and imagery while all iterations lead to the product’s web page. Each ad set was analysed for effectiveness and then culling of those underperforming and ramping up of those performing well over the life of the campaign.
The Results.
Through each ‘funnel’ stage of the campaign REDARCs Tow-Pro web page traffic increased significantly resulting in all sales targets being met while also gaining valuable data on visitors allowing us to further target customers to purchase other REDARC offerings and providing statistics on where to best aim future marketing initiatives and strategies.
